10% Continuing Education discount for Alumni

The Fall 2008 Bow Valley College course guides have hit the stands and we have a very exciting announcement to make for BVC/AVC alumni. On page 157 there is an alumni ad promoting our newly inked deal to give alumni a 10% discount on select Continuing Education courses. Alumni will need to register in person with their alumni benefit card or a verification slip from the Alumni Relations office (Room 1112, Rocky Mountain Plaza) and a piece of picture ID to obtain the discount. Welcome to the BVC Alumni Insider blog! My name is Colleen Bangs and I am the Coordinator of the Alumni program at Bow Valley College.The BVC Alumni program has just reached its first anniversary and I got to thinking, what better time to introduce something new and exciting to guide us into year two. This blog will contain updates about new programs, benefits, events for alumni and interesting links to BVC alumni in the news. It will also give alumni a place to weigh in on what we are doing and make suggestions for future initiatives.I have officially dubbed 2008/09 BVC Alumni's"technology breakthrough year". Last month we launched our new alumni e-newsletter Alumni Links, and we have just created a facebook group for BVC Alumni. The group is called Bow Valley College Alumni Association and currently I am the only member :( ... so if you are a "facebooker" and want to stay up to date on events for alumni and other interesting photos and links login and join our group!
